April 12 Invoice Ledbury Gas Works to Mr BOWLER.

May 15 By this date the 12 incandescent lamps had been fixed in different parts of the Urban district.
October 4 at the Urban Council meeting, it was decided that the Institute clock should be lighted every night at a cost of £12 per annum.
1898
September 5 The Urban Council decided to light several of the dark alleys in the town.
1901
November 4 at the monthly Meeting of the Ledbury Urban Council it was reported that the Gas Company had resolved to reduce the price of Gas for the public lamps from 4s. 5d. to 4s. 2d. per 1000 feet.
